William Junius Norman

William Junius Norman aged 70 years, formerly of Burlington, North Carolina, passed away in Killeen, Texas where he resided. Following an 18-month battle with cancer he slipped away peacefully on May, 11, 2023.

William was born on March 20, 1953 to Thomas J. Norman and Ann Fuller Norman in Burlington, North Carolina.  After graduating high school, William enlisted into the United States Army. Following serving our country for 20 years he retired from the United States Army and served an additional 17 years with the United States Postal Service from which he also retired. 

William enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a selfless individual who always put his family first.

William was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson: Trenton T. Perry and siblings: Larry Norman, Jimmy Norman, Ronald Warren, Lottie Thompson and Doretha Walker.

William is survived by his wife of 45 years: Isolina Norman; children: Chris Shipman, Cortesa A. Myers, William Norman, II, Tawana Butler, Thomas Norman and Nicholas Norman; siblings: Sylvia Daye, Mary Holt, Linda Tinnin, Carolyn Warren and Terry Norman as well as a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
