Veronica Alicia Morgan Hunter transitioned from her labor here on Earth to her Heavenly reward. Mrs. Veronica was born August 2, 1951 in Alamance County, NC. She is the daughter of Mrs. Roberta Poteat Rembert (William Rembert Jr.) and Mr. Kime G. Morgan, Jr. Veronica was a graduate of Bridgeport Central High School, Hartford College for Women and Central Connecticut State University. Veronica was an Insurance Adjuster for over 15 years with Allstate Insurance Company and she retired with 25 years of service from the Department of Economic and Community Development in the State of Conn.
Veronica was also a Mary Kay Director, Associated Bridal Consultant/Event Planner and a Sandals Representative. She is a member of First Baptist Church, Apple St. Burlington where she served in many capacities. To name a few, Finance Board Chair, Women Ministry Chair, Angel Tree Chair, Usher Board, Ladies Sunday School Treasurer, Helping Hands, Seniors Ministry, Vacation Bible School Teacher and the Pastor Search Committee. She had a heart of gold and loved to share her talents and love with everyone. Her hobbies included going to the movies and especially eating the tubs of movie popcorn, she loved to read and take pictures of family and friends.
Her life and legacy will forever live in the heart of her loving husband, Mr. John Henry Hunter and loving daughter, Satara Alicia Gore (Gabriel IV), loving son, Aaron Jon Hunter; her parents, William Jr. and Roberta Rembert; sister, Glenda Brown (Kevin); brothers, Christol Morgan (Yolanda) and William Rembert (Darlene "Renee"); 4 grandchildren, Serena Gore, Kayla Gore, Micheya Gore and Gabriel Gore V and her very special sister-in-love, Nancy Hunter; Step-brother, Stanford Rembert (Carlette) with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Veronica was preceded in death by her father Mr. Kime G. Morgan, Sr. and her brother, Mr. Kime W. Morgan, Jr.
