Veronica (Williams) George

Veronica Williams George was born in Alamance County to the Kiah Williams, Sr. and Lena Peoples Williams Martin.  Veronica was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and received her Certified Nurses Assistance Degree.  Veronica was a missionary by nature who loves helping others in any way that she could.  She was a devoted member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Ushers Ministry and the President of Missionary Society.  

She leaves loving and lasting memories to her husband: Nathaniel George, Jr.; six siblings: Lynwood Martin, Kellie Belton (Doug), Ella Watlington, Lennie Fonville, Ozie Garner (Fred) and Juanita Enoch (Wallace) as well as several nieces & nephews other relatives and dear friends.

Quietly, Veronica slipped into the presence of our Savior on September 9, 2020 while at her residence.  She now joins her loving daughter: Tiffany Elvansia Williams; her parents; and siblings: Kiah Wright Williams, Ovella Gaddy and Mozelle Scott.
