Tony T. Upsher

Mr. Tony Torrance Upsher age 52 of 912 Rauhut St. transitioned from labor to reward on June 1, 2020 while being cared for at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  Mr. Upsher was the son of the late Mr. Cecil E. Upsher Sr. and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Graves Upsher.

Tony was a 1986 graduate of Walter M. Williams High School and an United States Navy Veteran.  He was a Lab Tech for LabCorp of America and was an avid Duke Fan.   

His life and legacy will be forever cherished by his siblings, Donald Ray Graves (Annette), Angela S. Day and Cecil E. Upsher Jr. (Zena) along with a host of nieces, nephews, one aunt, Addie Mae Graves; two uncles, John Horace Upsher and Robert Lee Upsher, other family members and many friends.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Ann Graves Steven.
