Tony Marvin Moore

Mr. Tony Marvin Moore age 59 of 454 Elmira St. transitioned on April 24, 2019 at Duke University Hospital.

Mr. Moore is the son of Mrs. Nellie Jordan Moore Herbin of the home and the late Mr. Walter Moore.  Tony is a US Army Veteran and a 1977 Western Alamance High School graduate.

He was a member of the Durham Rescue Mission where he sang in the choir and drove the van.  During his life he worked also as a truck driver and an employee of Labcorp.

Tony is survived by his mother, Nellie Herbin, two brothers, Connie Moore (Carolyn) and Duncan Moore and three sisters, Joyce Madkins (Lacy), Faye Pinnix (William Howard) and Sandra

Cohn (Joien).  He was preceded in death by three siblings, Harold Moore, Walter Keith Moore and Shelia Moore.
