Thomas Alexander Long

Mr. Thomas Alexander Long 61, of 412 Hood Street in Burlington, NC transitioned on Monday June 6, 2022 at his home. Thomas better known as "Big Bro" to his family and friends, was the oldest twin to his brother Tommie "Lil Bro" Long. He was born to Thomas Shavers and Hallie Mae Bigelow Long on August 6,1960 in Alamance County.

Thomas loved spending time with his family or hanging out with his friends. He worked as a lawn care provider and worked various jobs within the community helping people along the way.

He is survived by his son, Anton Springfield Sr. (Queenasia); daughter, Shonette Monic Long; twin brother, Tommie " Lil Bro" Long; brothers, James Long, Louis Long; sister, Aleasa Long; grandson, Anton Springfield Jr.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, James Shavers and Hallie Mae Bigelow Long; brother, Stoney Long; sisters, Barbara Long, Sherrye Long, and Robin Faye Long
