Thaddies Leonard Jeffries

Condolences are being shared with the family of Mr. Thaddies L. Jeffries as they announce his passing which occurred on March 9, 2021 while he was being cared for by the staff of Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center.  

Thaddies Leonard Jeffries was born to Leonard McAdoo Jeffries and Katie Mae Vaughn Jeffries.  He was married to Carrie Degraffenreidt Jeffries.  He was Veteran of the United States Army  and attended Martin's Chapel Baptist Church.  He was a retired professional driver for Cone Mills and Burlington Industries.  Thad was a farmer at heart who loved caring for his Cattle Livestock.  

He is survived by his children: Maverick Jeffries (Helen), Shelia Kay Cobb (Harold Jr.), Beverly Jeffries Eason; four grandchildren; and two sisters: Algene Jeffries Davis and Betty Jeffries Dixon (Terry).   

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Louis Jeffries.
