Mrs. Teressa Ann Wheeler Graves of 807 Bowling St. Graham transitioned from labor to her reward on April 4, 2021. Teressa was born on October 5, 1958 to Mr. Jimmy Cotton and Almeda Wheeler in Alamance County, NC. She was educated in the Alamance-Burlington School System and worked for over 23 years as a clerk with Burlington Industries. Teressa worshiped and served the Lord as a member of Melfield UCC singing in the Total Praise Choir and working in the Pastors Aide Ministry. Teressa took pride in her leadership abilities, especially when it came to her siblings. She enjoyed getting the family together, trips to Walmart, cooking and just hanging out with "Jackie" her daughter and Zakyra her granddaughter.
Teressa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mr. Charles Graves.
Her life and legacy will be forever cherished by her loving daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Cotton; granddaughter, Zakyra Cotton; four sisters, Shelby Wheeler, Marcella Williams (Rev. Dr. Dannie Williams), Rowena Shavers (Maurice) and Sheila Wheeler; three brothers, Calvin Cotton, Ronald Cotton and Terry Wheeler (Johnette); her special best friend, Rosa Mapp along with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends.
