Sylvia Sonia Walker

Miss. Sylvia Sonia Walker was born to Robert Clyde Walker, Sr. and Mrs. Verlie Jackson Walker in Lincolnton, NC.  She was a 1956 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School and later began a 39- and one-half year career with Alamance-Burlington School System.  She was a devoted disciple of First Baptist Church of Apple St. where she sang with the Chancellor Choir.  

She is survived by her siblings: Helen W. Brooks (Ernest) and Moultrie Louis Walker and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and dear friends.  

In addition to her parents she now joins her three siblings: Robert Walker, Jr., Billy Maurice Walker and Verlie Walker.
