Stoney Rennie Long

Mr. Stoney Rennie Long age 57 of 412 Hood St. transitioned on February 19, 2021 at Cone Health ARMC.

Stoney was the loving son of Mrs. Hallie Mae Bigelow Long  and Mr. Thomas Shavers both now deceased.  He was born in Alamance County on August 20, 1963.  Stoney worked at Vocational Trade and volunteered whenever and wherever he could.  He loved to build things, collect cans and attending dances.  His favorite hymn was "Precious Lord" and he was a member of Visitors Chapel.  Stoney was a precious Pearl that loved his family dearly and he will be missed by all that knew him.

Stoney is survived by two sisters, Alesa Faye Long and Robin Faye Long; four brothers, Thomas A. Long, Tommie B. Long, James L. Long and Louis W. Long a host of nieces, nephews and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his mother (less than a month ago), his father and two sisters, Barbara Long and Sherrye Long.
