Sandra Kay (Farrington) Worth

Sandra Kay Farrington Worth, Age 72 transitioned to eternal rest on January 20, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, NC after a week-long illness.  

Sandra was the second oldest daughter of the late Mr. Ernest Lee Farrington and Mrs. Doris M. Woods Farrington.   She was born on August 3, 1948 in Alamance County, NC.

Sandra attended Alamance County Schools graduating from Central High School in 1966.  She was employed with Collins & Aikman Textile Mill in Graham, NC until it closed and then she was employed with the Alamance-Burlington School System until she retired after 20 years of employment.   Sandra was a hard-working person that loved her family, Church, friends and Community.   She especially enjoyed all of her family members and talking to her sisters and brother.   

Her life and now legacy will be forever cherished in the hearts and minds of her daughters, Angela R. Worth and Veronica L. Worth (Craig Chambers) of the home; her grandsons: Terrance L. Worth (Kendra) of Burlington, Jaylin A. Chambers of the Home and her great granddaughter: Makenzie Haley of the home.   Her sisters, Phyllis Wilson, Ernestine Torain and Mary Farrington; her brother, Ronnie Farrington and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Sandra was proceeded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee Farrington and Doris M. Woods Farrington; her husband Cecil C. Worth, sister Pattie S. Farrington and a host of aunts and uncles.
