Obituary
Ronald Haywood Boone, Sr. was born on July 5, 1946 to Lonnie K. Boone and Pearl Louise Graves Boone in Alamance County, North Carolina. Following a brief illness, he passed away into eternal life on July 11, 2023. Ronald was a graduate of Jordan Sellars High School and was a proud United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a dedicated and loyal Professional Truck Driver. He retired from the Alamance Burlington School System, as he was a livery driver for the system. He enjoyed trying his luck at the Lottery and was known to say " Burn them a new one!"
He leaves loving and lasting memories to his devoted wife: Laverne Chavis Boone; two sons: Ronald H. Boone, Jr. and Darius Andre' Boone; his mother: Pearl Louise Graves Boone; grandchild: Skylar E. Boone; two siblings: Hantz Tyron Boone (Joan) and Phylis Yvone Benton (Alonzo). Ronald leaves loving and cherished memories to his nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins and dear friends.
