Richard Lee Moore was born December 12, 1953 in Alamance County to Mr. Lester Willis Dixon and Mrs. Signora Irene Moore Cousins. Following a period of brief illness, he transitioned into eternal life on April 17, 2022 while under the care of AuthoraCare Collective - Burlington.
A lifelong native of Alamance County he attended the Alamance School System and was employed as a textile worker with Glen Raven Mills for several years. In his free time, Richard Lee loved to fish watch sports on television and be around his family and friends. He was a diehard UNC and Carolina Panthers fan.
He leaves loving and lasting memories to his two daughters Latrise Brown and Juleeyah Moore; brothers: Eddie "June" Moore (Shirley), Clifford "Nick" Moore (Helen); Steve Moore (Vanessa) and Ronnie D. Moore; Lester Dixon, Jr. (Dorene); sisters: Gladys M. McDaniels (Rico) and Minister Kathy Dixon; an aunt: Mrs. Inez M. Graves: five grandchildren: Taleah, Sakeah, Cameron, Annie and Tyler and one great grandchild: Braylea as well a several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Daryl Brown; a brother, William Donnell Moore and his stepfather: John Cousins.
