Ms. Pamela Ann Turner age 70 of 711 Meridian St. Burlington transitioned on April 20, 2021 at Cone Health ARMC after a lengthy illness. "Pam" as she was affectionately called by family and friends was the daughter of the late Mr. Kenneth Stancil Turner and the late Mrs. Mary "Mary Tom" Currie Turner. She was born and reared here in Burlington NC where she was educated in the Burlington-Alamance School System, a 1968 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School. In high school "Pam" was a cheerleader and after graduation she was very active in the 1968 Alumni Class Reunion and activities.
"Pam" moved to Baltimore Maryland where she was gainfully employed at John Hopkins Hospital in the American School of Oriental Research Department as an Administrative Assistant for over 15 years. "Pam" also worked at the Ebenezer UCC as a receptionist. "Pam" had the smile, personality and a good heart to do just about whatever she wanted. She was a people person, full of life and just right "bubbly" as long as you stayed on her good side. Her favorite hobby was to crochet, she made beautiful pieces.
The life and now legacy of Pamela Ann Turner will be forever cherished by her sisters, Carolyn T. Sellars and Leah T. Bailey (Irvin) and brothers, Thomas Turner (Sharon) and Lamont Turner (Annie Rue); nieces and nephews, Sedrick Griffis (Rosilyn), DeVarrick Turner, Shaun Turner, Shaquedah Boykin (Jeffrey), Lyndsye Sellars, John Sellars III (Lenise) and Blake Bailey along with several great nieces and great nephews.
