Nancy Mae Johnson

The family of Ms. Nancy Mae Johnson, age 59, announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Alamance Health Care Center.

Nancy was born to the late Charlie James Johnson and Mildred Ruby Hester Johnson on June 6, 1961. She was a loving and devoted mother to her son Joshua Johnson. She was educated in the Alamance County School system and a was a faithful member of Hester’s Grove Baptist Church. Nancy was also a dedicated employee at Elon College for a number of years.

She leaves loving memories to her son: Joshua Johnson; two brothers James Edward Johnson and Harold Thomas Hester; two sisters: Josephine Johnson and Ester Johnson Jones along with a host of relatives and dear friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents along with one brother; Frank Hester: two sisters Annie Johnson and Barbara Jones.
