Willie Lee Graves Gray was born to Albert Lee Graves and Effie Emma Pritchett Graves on April 3, 1930 in Guilford. She quietly passed away on May 27, 2023 at the Home Place of Alamance. She attended the local school system and following her graduation she moved to Clear Lake, California with her loving husband Calvin Gray. She was a devoted wife and made sure that their home and lake cabin were warm, welcoming and inviting. She supported her husband in all of his endeavors and together they travelled in their RV all over the United States of America, never going the same direction twice.
In her youth she professed a hope in Jesus Christ and joined Springdale African Methodist Episcopal Church. While in Clear Lake she attended church where she sang with the choir and was the musician for several years. She was a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a wonderful cook, made beautiful crochet crafts and she loved spending time with her family. Her beautiful smile and loving disposition will forever be cherished and missed.
She leaves loving and lasting memories to her sisters: Pearl Boone and Elsie Coble as well as a host of loving nieces & nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In her passing, she now joins her beloved husband Calvin Gray, her parents Albert Lee Graves and Effie Emma Pritchett Graves and a brother, Edward Pritchett.
