Minnie Jefferies Haith transitioned on May 11, 2021 while being cared for by the wonderful staff of AuthoraCare Collective Hospice of Alamance-Caswell. Minnie was born in Spartanburg S.C to Mr. Nelson Jefferies and Mrs. Nancy Dawkins Jefferies on March 3, 1951.
At a young age Minnie and her brother Nelson attended First Baptist Church, Apple St. with their grandmother and later in life she attended Greater Love World Outreach. Minnie had the love of Jesus in her heart and in her walk. She loved gospel music, especially "I'll Fly Away". Her past-time hobbies were adult coloring books, word search puzzles and watching Family Feud. Minnie was a 1969 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School and was gainfully employed for many years with a greeting card company.
Her life and now legacy will be cherished by her son, Jeremiah Adderley, Sr.; her brother, Hayward Nelson Jefferies and wife, Lisa Ann Jefferies; grandson: Jeremiah Adderley, Jr.; aunts and uncles: William and Rosa Dawkins, Mamie Dawkins and Jimmy Dawkins; nieces: Kim Griffis, Chandrika Brown, Tamera Wilson, Ashley Jefferies along with a special niece, Mary Lynn West along with other relatives and friends.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents.
