Mildred Ann (Tate) Elliott

Ms. Mildred Ann Tate Elliott 74, of 1717 Durham St. Burlington, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Monday June 27, 2022 at Cone Health Medical Center- Alamance Regional Hospital. She was born to Adolphus Julius Tate and Willie Pearl Love Tate on February 11, 1948 in Caswell County.

Mildred was a member of New Mount Zion Christian Church where she served as a Deaconess and choir member. She was known for talking trash especially during a serious game of spades. Her love for her family could never be questioned. As a loving and caring mother, she made sure her family was taken care of. She also enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Kendell Elliott Sr. (Toni); daughter, Evangelist Barbara Elliott; brothers, Curtis Tate and Clarence Tate (Wanda); grandchildren, Tamara Daye, Gregory Elliott, Candice Elliott, Samantha Elliott, Kendell "KJ" Elliott Jr.; great-grandchildren, Okaya Elliott Wilson, Leyanna Elliott; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Adolphus and Willie Pearl Tate, brothers, John "JC" Clarence Tate, Harry Lee Tate, Ronnie Wayne Tate and one sister, Linda Jean Tate.
