Michael Vaughn Jeffries

Mr. Michael Vaughn Jeffries, 55 of 416 E. Sixth St. Burlington the son of Mrs. Annie Burnett Jeffries Lewis and the late Mr. Joseph Jeffries was born on January 28, 1968, in Alamance County, NC.  Michael transitioned from his labor on Earth to his reward in Heaven on November 16, 2023, at Cone Health ARMC after an extended illness.

Michael was a 1986 graduate of Eastern Guilford High School and worked for many years in Management for local Restaurants.  He was a die-hard fan of the UNC Tarheels, Chapel Hill, NC.  He loved all sports, especially basketball and football, he enjoyed attending the auto races, before his sickness and spending time with his friends and family was a high light of his life.  Michael will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Michael’s memory will be forever cherished by his mother, Annie J. Lewis, his brother, Mark Eric Jeffries, his girlfriend, Alexandrea English, nieces, Vanessa Jeffries and Victoria Martinez, nephews, Mark Jeffries Jr., and Joseph Franklin Jeffries, uncles, Ronald L. Burnett (Joy), and Otis Burnett Jr. (Dianne) and his dedicated nurse Glenda Lee along with a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Joseph Jeffries.
