Mary Elizabeth (Ward) Walker

Condolences are being shared with the family of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Walker as they prepare for services to celebrate her life on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 am. Services will be held in the chapel of Sharpe Funeral Home. She was born to the late Orange Ward and Sadie Daye Ward on April 13, 1917. Public viewing will be held Friday, March 19, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prier to the service. Internment will follow the services in Mary's Grove Congregational Church's cemetery. Covid precautions will be observed; therefore, masks and social distancing are required for all events.

Mrs. Walker is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband: Logan Walker; four brothers: Alexander Ward, Thomas Ward, Edward Ward and William Ward; two sisters: Josie Ward Boyd, Robena Farrar and Ester Wagstaff.
