Mary Elizabeth Moore Degraffinreaidt was born August 3, 1933 to Samuel Moore and Gertrude Johnson Moore. Following a period of declining health, on April 17, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family, she transitioned into eternal life. A lifelong native of Alamance County Mary was employed by J. Spencer Love Hosiery Mill for many years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother; and her main concern was her family‘s welfare. In her spare time, she loved being around her family and playing dominoes as well.
She leaves her loving and lasting memory to her seven children: Warren Degraffinreaidt, Patricia Ann Degraffinreaidt, Mark Wayne Degraffinreaidt and his wife Patricia, Nathaniel Degraffinreaidt and his wife Callie, Victor Adrian Degraffinreaidt, Janice Degraffinreaidt and Anthony Dale Degraffinreaidt; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great greatgrandchild; two sisters: Willie Mae Moore Daye and Joyce Moore Herbin as well as several nieces & nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Lee Roy Degraffinreaidt; a son: Rickey Franklin Degraffinreaidt; one grandchild; two sisters Beatrice M. Herbin and Selena M. Miles and three brothers: Richard Moore, James Moore and Matthew Moore.
