Margaret Virginia (Moore) Moore

Mrs. Margaret Virginia Moore 71, of Burlington, NC transitioned peacefully on April 15, 2023 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Hospital. Margaret was born to Robert Steven Moore and Ruthie Mae Thaxton Moore on October 31, 1951 in Orange County.

Margaret was educated in the Orange County School System and was a member of the 1970 graduating class of Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC. She met and married William Linwood Moore and from this union two children were born. Margaret and William enjoyed working out together. Margaret was a competitive runner and loved physical fitness exercises. Margaret had a very special love for computers and was a wiz when it came to helping family members with computer problems. Margaret was a faithful member of St. Matthews AME Church in Burlington, NC. 

Margaret leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving and devoted husband William Linwood Moore; son, Andre William Moore; daughter, Denise Leshay Moore; grandchildren, Korbin Miller, Davion Gage, Anyla Moore, Alana VanHook, Deniya Moore; three sisters: Rosely Harrelson (Morris), Carrie Moore, Isabella Parker, and Cynthia Moore along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruthie Moore and siblings: Julia Williamson, Mary Jane Moore, James Moore and Ruby Yellock.
