Snow Camp

Mrs. Margaret Martin Golden age 74 of 7267 S. Hwy 49 transitioned on December 24, 2020 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

There will be no public viewing for Mrs. Golden, a graveside service will be held on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 12:00noon at Martins Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Martin Golden was born on May 21, 1946 in Alamance County to Mr. Lorius Martin and Mrs. Mable Liggins Martin.  She was the wife of Mr. Elmer Richard Golden.

Mrs. Golden was a homemaker, caregiver and missionary.  She loved giving of herself to others, helping and feeding those in need.  Working in her flower bed gave her much joy along with loving her family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five siblings, Willard Martin, Marvin Martin, “J.C” Martin, Thomas Martin and Nellie White.

She is survived by one daughter, Tina Martin (Vick); two sons, Samuel Golden (Julie) and David Golden (Tonya); three brothers, Monroe Martin, Joe Martin, Arthur Martin (Delois) and Pauline Summers (John); 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchilden; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
