Marcene (Miles) Bishop

Marcene Miles Bishop was born in Alamance County to Earnest Preston Miles and Addie Warren Miles.  Marcene was educated in the Alamance County School System and furthered her education by obtaining her Associates Degree.  She led a vibrant career in the Insurance industry for many years.  Following living in New York for the majority of her life, she relocated to her home within the Miles' community and reestablished her membership with Miles Chapel Baptist Church. 

She leaves loving and caring memories to husband, Tyrone Bishop; four children: Mischa Miles Lewis, Alieizoria Redd, LeJuan Miles and Roland Bishop; a host of grandchildren; two sisters: Minister Betty Lou Haith and Irene M. White; sister-in-law: Corrina F. White as well as host of loving nieces & nephews, other relatives and dear friends. 

Quietly, following a brief illness, Marcene exchanged time for eternity on September 23, 2020 while she was being cared for by the staff of Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center.  She now joins her parents and siblings Charlie Miles and John David Miles.
