Lucy Bryant

Ms. Lucy Carol Bryant 63, of 2169 Pleasant Woods Court, Burlington, NC 27217 passed quietly at her home on March 10, 2022. She was born to Ms. Nancy Leola Bryant on January 26, 1959, in Alamance County.

Lucy was a faithful and active member of Martins Chapel Baptist Church. Her work in the ministry included singing in the choir, ushering, serving on the kitchen committee and as a youth advisor. During her private time, she would enjoy spending time shopping, cooking for her family, or watching her favorite soap operas. Lucy also had a creative artistic nature that could be seen in the arts and crafts she created.

She worked many years as a Machine Operator at MCR in Mebane, NC and was a Professional Care Giver at Ralph Scott where she was known for her smile and caring spirit.

She is survived by her sons Jordy Bryant (Katie), Wayne “Puddin” Stanfield (Rikkita); brother, Devon Torain; sister, Geraldine Jeffries; aunt, Katie Long; grandchildren, Latreveon Bryant, Heaven Bryant, Lanea Corbett along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Bryant.
