Lonnie Donnell Tinnin

Lonnie Donnell Tinnin was born October 31, 1975 in Raleigh, NC.  He departed this life on September 14, 2023 at Cone Health ARMC in Burlington, NC.

Lonnie was a true example of spreading love, light and joy where ever he went.  He graduated in 1995 from LaSalle High School in South Bend, IN.

Lonnie began a career working as a construction worker until he became ill in 2015.  During his leisure he enjoyed concerts, sewing, designing and traveling to promote his business.  He was very creative.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Daijha Tinnin, mother, Norma Tinnin; two brothers, Ricco Tinnin and Malcolm Pennix; grandparents, Hulon and Peggy Faucette and nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and dear friends.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Monroe.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the medical team that assisted in his care and comfort that was provided to Lonnie during his illness.  A special thanks to all the prayer warriors that prayed for him constantly, Morningstar Baptist Church, Burlington, NC; Unity Worship Center, Burlington, NC; and Mt. Zion Cathedral of Praise, South Bend, Indiana.
