Mr. Kennis Burnett Wiley was born in Caswell County, NC to Tom Wiley, Sr. and Annis Vanhook Wiley. He departed this life surrounded by those he loved and those who loved him on May 26, 2020.
"Chicken-Man" as he was widely known, was a very hard working man. He worked in Construction and Farming for several years. He loved having a good time and spending those good times with his family and dear friends. He was a member of Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church and assisted with the culinary ministry at times preparing beverages.
He leaves loving and lasting memories to his two children: Kenneth Lamont Willis Wiley (Melissa) and Krystal "Shelly-Bean" Wiley; six grandchildren; one great-grandson, Gekyng Etson Lee; twelve siblings; Marcia Wiley, Linda Enoch (Fitzgerald), Tom Wiley, Jr. (Charlotte), Lizzie Bet Wiley, Jeanette Wiley, Lawrence Wiley (Darlene), Florence Wiley, Gary Wiley (Peggy), Barry Wiley, Paul Wiley, Shirley Tate Corbett and Lolitha Watlington as well as multitude of nieces & nephews other relatives and dear friends. The family would like to give special thanks to their cousin, Kelly Bigelow for the care he gave to "Chicken-Man during his illness.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings: Rudolph Wiley and Dorothy Wiley.
