Kathleen (Harris) Goins

Mrs. Kathleen Harris Goins age 81 of Burlington, NC transitioned February 7, 2021 at Alamance Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.  She was the daughter of Mr. Henry Harris and Mrs. Lillian Swan Harris born in Alamance County, NC on September 18, 1939.

Mrs. Kathleen is married to Mr. John Goins of Burlington, NC.  She was a member of Ebenezer UCC and was a dedicated homemaker and also worked in the food industry for many years.  Kathleen will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband John Goins, one daughter, Doretha Ann Harris, two grandchildren, Dane and Lagwenda; five sisters-in-law, Bessie Harris, Ruth Harris, Elsie Harris, Lena Harris and Hilda Harvey along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and dear friends.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Walter Harris, Ben L. Harris, James “Big James” Harris, James Earl Harris, Lindsay Harris, Clifton Harris, LeRoy Harris, Joe Harris, Ernest Harris and Sammy Harris; sisters, Cora Yellock, Corina James and Katie Haith.
