Miss Julia Roseshalea Richardson, of Burlington, North Carolina transitioned on March 23, 2024. Julia was born to Nathan Cornelious Richardson Jr. and Carrie Sockwell Richardson on July 18, 1990, in Burlington, NC.
Julia was baptized at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church of Gibsonville. During her membership she was an Usher, Missionary, worked with the Pastor’s Aid Committee and was the Church Announcer. She graduated from Eastern Guilford High School. After graduating high school, she attended Job Corp to study to become a chef. She then went to further her education as a Nursing Assistant at GTCC. Julia also worked for Aramark as a food server and with McDonalds as a cashier.
Julia leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother, Carrie Sockwell Richardson; brothers, Nathan Richardson III, Lawrence Richardson; sisters, CieLea Cox, Leaia Richardson, Natia Richardson and a nephew, Johnathan Cox Jr. along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Julia was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Cornelious Richardson Jr., sister LaTasha Richardson; grandparents, Samuel & Viola Sockwell, Nathan Sr. & Beulah Maxwell Richardson and great grandparents, James & Sarah Burks and Luther & Carrie Sockwell along with a step grandmother, Jesse Mae Richardson and a brother-in-law Johnathan Cox, Sr.
