A kind, gentle, and loving soul, Joseph Everett Fuller was born May 14, 1947 in Mebane, NC to the late Samuel Fuller and the late Emma Yarborough Fuller.
After graduating from Central High School in 1965, Joseph served in the US Army from 1969 – 1971. Upon his discharge from the Army, he went on to earn Associate’s degrees in both Accounting and Electronic Technologies. In 1976, he met and later wed his wife, Linda in August of 1980. Joseph worked as an Electronic Technician and retired with 33 years of service from Lucent Technologies (formerly Western Electric/AT&T). When he wasn’t building computers and tinkering with other electronic devices, he enjoyed socializing with family and friends, and vacationing.
While our hearts ache over the passing of Joseph, we know that he is now with God and rejoicing with his parents; his daughter, Sonya Fuller; and siblings: Bessie Crisp, Judy Hughes, Sandra Jones, William Fuller, Samuel Anderson Fuller, James Wesley Fuller and Carl Davis Fuller…what a glorious reunion.
Joseph was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Memories will forever be cherished by his wife, Linda and their daughter Janel Fuller Davis and her husband Jeffrey of Greensboro; a son from a previous marriage, Eric Fuller of Durham, NC; granddaughter: Aria Davis of Greensboro, NC; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have met him.
