John Wesley Hadley, 78, of Graham, N.C. passed away peacefully on April 11, 2021 at Hospice of Alamance-Caswell. He was born March 25, 1943 to the late Alton and Rose Hadley. John grew up and ultimately settled down in Alamance County with his wife, Doris Jean Hadley.
Mr. Hadley was a bus driver for Central High School where he was a member of the first graduating class of the new all black school. He then transitioned into a career of woodwork. That career started with Liberty Furniture before moving on to Mastercraft Casket Company and after many years retiring from UltraCraft Cabinetry. John enjoyed working in his woodshop, cleaning his cars, fishing, visiting with friends and family and vacationing in Morehead City, N.C.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Doris Jean Hadley and a sister Joyce Ann Hadley.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters; Gail Hadley, Kathy Jeffries, and Delores Dailey; seven grandchildren Lakeisha Allen, Audrey Shoffner, Kristin Hadley, KeiAira Carr, Kaitlyn Carr, Kalisha Hadley and Kamryn Carr; and three great-grandchildren Dorisa Allen, Tyler Hadley-Horne and Aniyah Hadley. John is also survived by long time special friend Helen Farrar; three brothers William Hadley (Alleen), Billy Hadley, and Bobby Hadley; four sisters Brenda White, Rebecca Hadley, Rosie Hadley, and Judy Williamson.

We would also like to thank everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
