Joe Henry Pittman

Joe Henry Pittman was born in Dillon, South Carolina to Elsie Lee Pittman.  He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator with the City of Burlington for 30 years.  He was a devoted member of Visitors' Chapel Christian Church where he served as an Usher.  He loved to fish and garden in his spare time.  

He leaves loving and lasting memories to his son: Wyndell Pittman of New Jersey; two sisters: Hester Lee Thompson and Lillie Jane Thompson “Snoop” both of Dillon, South Carolina; two nephews: Ervin Hayes of Clayton, North Carolina and Andrew Hayes (Linda) of South Carolina and a host of additional nieces & nephews, relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by six siblings: Lenny C. Thompson, David Junior Thompson, Robert Thompson, John Louis Thompson, Ida Mae Hayes and Eula Thompson.
