Mr. Jesse W. Torain, Sr. or as family and friends called him "Jay" was a real family man. He enjoyed fishing, sharpshooting, maintaining a beautiful yard, and eating delicious meals. "Jay" had many titles, he could build furniture, remodel homes and fix cars. He enjoyed working, his last job was supervisor of the Dye house at Culp Weaving in Graham.
He loved his family and he was a great Dad, he made sure his children always had everything they needed. "Jay" was admired by people for the care and pride he gave to everything he done. We can truly say "Jay" earned his wings with the Lord. He will be greatly missed and our hearts will hurt, but we all know he is in a better place with our Lord. He was a member of Melfield United Church of Christ.
