James Louis Warren

         James Louis Warren was born on November 19, 1936 in Alamance County, North Carolina to Ernest Baxter Warren and Ida Mae Mebane Warren.  Following a period of declining health, God granted him with eternal rest on July 18, 2023.  He was a graduate of Pleasant Grove Union High School and attended Alamance Community College to broaden his educational spectrum.  He bravely served in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged. James had a vibrant career with North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company as an Insurance Agent. Additionally, he was a Bus Driver for the Alamance-Burlington School System as well.  

         James met and married Barbara Sue Shaw Warren and this union was blessed with the birth of two wonderful children, Gregory and Angela.  James provided a loving and caring home environment for his family.  Spiritually, James was a life-long devoted member of Union Chapel United Church of Christ.  James would lend his support to the church and to all who may have been in need.  He will be sorely missed and his memory will be cherished by all who loved him.  

         Loving and lasting memories will forever be within the hearts and minds of his loving wife: Barbara Sue Shaw Warren; their two children: Gregory Louis Warren (Jamie) and Angela Warren Sadler (Vernon); four grandchildren: Athena Warren, Myles Sadler, Nigel Sadler and Kendyl Sadler. James also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins and dear friends.  

         In addition to his parents Ernest and Ida Warren, James now joins his brothers: Algie Warren, Lucian Warren and Robert L. Warren.
