Jacqueline "Jackie" Jeffries

CHARLOTTE- Ms. Jacqueline (Jackie) Jeffries age 61, peacefully transitioned her earthly journey on July 6, 2023 at Carolinas Medical Center. Jackie was born to the late Mr. David Adell Jeffries and Mrs. Patty Jean Shoffner Jeffries Wilson on November 10, 1961 in Alamance County. She was educated in the Graham School System and a graduate of Pfeiffer University.  As the first employee of the Carolina Panthers, she created and oversaw their Human Resources department and accompanied them to their first Super Bowl appearance. She retired with 20 years of service to the National Football League.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janet Jeffries. Her life and now legacy will be cherished by her faithful canine companion, Lola and a host of other family and friends.

A special thank you to the loyal caregivers, Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte, and the team at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute for the continual support during her ALS Journey.

Committal service will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 12:00 noon.
