Iris Mae (Whitfield) Cobb

Mrs. Iris Mae Whitfield Cobb transitioned on July 16, 2021 at White Oak Manor of Burlington.  Mrs. Cobb was born in Alamance County to Mr. William Whitfield and Mrs. Cornelia Trollinger.  

Iris loved life, family and friends, she enjoyed fishing and  bowling. Iris worked in food services while in the Healthcare profession.

Her memories will be forever cherished in the hearts of husband, Terrance Cobb; sons, Clifford Whitfield (Cathy), and Howard Rogers; one daughter, Alecia Whitfield; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Angelo Whitfield and David Whitfield; 2 sisters, Judy Whitfield and Audrey Wright (Richard); a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Carlos Whitfield and five brothers, Frank Whitfield, Charles Whitfield, William Whitfield, Barry Whitfield and Hulon Shaw.
