Hurline Nesbitt (Taylor) Allen

On October 22, 1948 Hurline Nesbitt Taylor was born to Evelyn Taylor and Hurl Taylor in Richmond VA. She was the youngest of 5 siblings and graduated from Maggie Walker High School.  Later in life she attended night classes to require her Certified Nurses Assistance Degree.  She met Kenneth Allen in 1981 and the two were married On May 1, 1982.   Hurline worked as a Certified Nurses Assistance Degree until she retired for health issues.   

Hurline love people.  She believed in feeding people and helping people and taking people in their time of need.  Hurline was an Evangelist at True Deliverance Church of God where she volunteered her time working at the Prayer Tower also working in the church flower shop.  Evangelist Allen also visited the local nursing home every month doing Arts and Crafts and having Praise Service with the elderly. On the holidays she made goodies bags to bless the residents of the nursing home.  It gave her joy to help others.  She also had a love for butterflies and angels and held a beautiful collection.

She leaves loving memories to her husband Kenneth Allen; two children: Trina D. Taylor Thompson (James E. Thompson) and Kennethia E. Allen; two grandchildren: Tanique I. Stanley and James E. Thompson, Jr.; two step-children: Juanita B. Allen and Donna M. Allen; two-step grandchildren: Ayana Evans and Secret Evans; two step-great-grandchildren: three siblings: Hurl Richmond Taylor, Jr., Changa Jhai and Gloria Odella Taylor; nieces and nephews: Richard Taylor, Michael Taylor, Rita Beard, Terry Taylor, Shanda Gaskins, Patricia Everheard and Lakita Taylor as well as several dear cousins and friends.  

Following a period of illness, God granted Hurline rest on August 10, 2020.  She now joins her parents; brother: Donald Reginald Taylor.
