Grady Earl Perkins

Mr. Grady Earl Perkins age 81 of 738 Grover Lane transitioned from labor to reward on May 4, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Perkins was the son of the late Mr. Herbert M. Perkins and Mrs. Maggie Baldwin Perkins.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Junior Perkins.

Grady was a graduate of Graham High School class of 1957 and an US Army veteran.  Mr. Perkins was a retired Professional Truck Driver for over 20 years and was also employed by Glen Raven Mills for 10 years.

Mr. Perkins is survived by his wife, Phillis Marsh Perkins; two sons, David Perkins and Michael Perkins, one daughter, Elizabeth Perkins, one sister, Linda P. Warren (Rev. Allen Warren), two brothers, Jesse Perkins (Dr. Vonda Perkins) and Kenneth Perkins (Tara) with a host of grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Perkins on Saturday June 5, 2021 at 12noon.
