George Christopher Pulliam, widely known as “Pepper” was born to George Junior Pulliam and Alice Faye Haith Pulliam on December 4, 1964 in Alamance County, North Carolina. Following a brief illness, he passed away into eternal life on August 9, 2023 at AuthoraCare Hospice of Alamance-Caswell.
“Pepper” was a 1984 graduate of Cummings High School and owned and operated his own window cleaning service. He was a member of Dan River Lodge #490 Prince Hall Affiliate Free & Accepted Masons. At an early age, he professed a hope in Jesus Christ at St. Matthews African Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a kind and loving individual who would do all within his power to assist others.
He leaves loving and lasting memories to his parents: George and Alice Pulliam: his six children: Christopher Pulliam, Kristen McCollum (Chris), Jesse Gowing Sr., Cameron Pulliam, Kayla Pulliam and Elijah Brantley; eleven grandchildren: Anyhia Pulliam, Braylon McCollum, Javai Sutton, Andrick Pulliam, Ariel Pulliam, Arieon Pulliam, Larsa Mccollum, Zion Pulliam, Nova Pulliam, Jesse Gowing Jr., Na’ziya Gowing; three brothers: Gregory Willis, Arnold Pulliam (Nitchia) and Boyd Pulliam (Maria). “Pepper” also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and dear and devoted friends.
The family will receive visitors at the home of his daughter and son in law. Kristen & Chris McCollum 2215 McKinney St. Burlington, NC.
