Obituary
Ms. Geneva Chambers Farrish 91, of 1717 Durham Street Lot 41, Burlington, NC transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday May 12, 2022 at Cone Health Medical Center in Burlington NC. Geneva was born to Thomas Chambers and Lillie Fuller Chambers on January 6, 1931 in Person County.
She was married to the late Walter Allen Farrish and from this union eight children were born.
Geneva leaves to cherish her memories her Son Harold Farrish; daughters: Portia Strayhorn (James), Felichia Clark; brother: Willie Chambers (Betty); sisters: Cumilla White, Shirley Lawson, Calvester Crisp (Cardell), Christine Hall and Ann Rushing; eleven grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lillie Chambers, sons: Larry Farrish, Linell Farrish, Bobby Farrish, Sterling Farrish and her daughter Marica Farrish.
