Francois "Frankie" Evans

Mr. Francois T. "Frankie" Evans was born in Alamance County on May 13, 1967 to Mr. Hassell McCoy Evans and Mrs. Treva Mae Baldwin Evans.  He transitioned on November 18, 2021 at his home in Mebane, NC.  "Frankie" as he was affectionately called was a 1985 graduate of Southern High School where he participated in ROTC during his entire high school experience.  

"Frankie" was employed with Leggett Group Company in Mebane, NC as a Machine Operator.  "Frankie" has always been a hard-working guy, some of his past employers have been, Sumitomo Electronic in Durham, NC, Armstrong World Industries, Mebane, NC, Honda Power Equipment, Inc and Easco Aluminum in Burlington.  

He also found time to be self-employed as "Evans Quality Cuts Landscaping Business".  "Frankie" loved motorcycles, drag racing and car detailing.  He often participated in Charity Motorcycle Rides to help those in need.

The life and legacy of Francois T. Evans will be forever cherished by his father, Hassell McCoy Evans; two sister, Tonja Evans-Ntuen (Albert) and Daphne Bowe (James); two brothers, Maurice Evans (Rita) and Travis M. Evans; aunts and uncles; two God-Children, Omar Rushing and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Jones along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

"Frankie" was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Treva Baldwin Evans and one brother, Phil L. Evans.
