Mrs. Fannie Lee Thompson Snipes 82, of Burlington, NC transitioned peacefully at Cone Health - Alamance Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Fannie was born to Sally Thompson McCrae on February 23, 1941 in Reidsville, NC.
Fannie met and wed Bobby L. Snipes and from this union two sons were born. She was a member of the Lattisville Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Hurdle Mills, NC. She enjoyed spending time gardening and was known as a sharp dresser who loved fashion.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Ervin Snipes and Timothy Snipes (Tonita) both of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Jerrod Sellars, Timothy Snipes Jr., Gabriel Snipes, twins Sierra and Amaiya Snipes and Jordon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby L. Snipes; mother Sally Thompson McCrae: and two sisters, Maxine and Nannie.
The family is asking for privacy during their time of bereavement.
