Eva Bowe Williams

Mrs. Eva Bowe Williams of 431 B. Sellars St. Burlington transitioned on June 1, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Caswell County to the late Mr. Henry Bowe and Mrs. Mulline Miles Bowe.  She was once employed by Alamance Healthcare. 

Eva had a big personality and such a caring heart and would cry easily especially when she spoke of her loved ones. She loved her family dearly and loved to talk about her grandchildren and was so proud of them. She also loved to laugh and had the gift of talking and was given the nickname "Gabby" by her father because she loved to talk so much. 

Her life and legacy will be forever cherished by her husband, Larry Williams; sons, James Henry Bowe, daughter-in-love, Daphne  and John Bowe both of Burlington; daughter, Christina "Tina" Seward of Henderson, NC; two brothers, William Henry Bowe of Burlington and Howard Bowe (CeCe) of Raleigh; 7 grandchildren, Shyla Walker of Graham, Brandon Broadnax of Reidsville, Damian Bowe of Reidsville, Zachary Bowe of Burlington, Amari Bowe of Burlington, Jermaine Seward and Tania Waverly both of Henderson, NC; 4 step-grandchildren, James McMillian of Burlington, TJ Stokes of Winston-Salem, Michael Stokes of Chapel Hill and Tory Stokes of Korea; 10 great grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 2 special and dear friends that was more like family, Barbara Crisp of Mebane and Barbara Chatman of Burlington.  

The family will receive visitors at the home James and Daphne Bowe, her son and daughter in law, located at 105 Carriage Loop Burlington, NC 27217.

Special thanks to all of her dear friends that helped and  looked out for her at the Burlington Housing Complex.
