Eunice Deloris Mebane

Ms. Eunice Deloris Mebane age 86 of 311 Fitch St. transitioned from labor to reward on February 18, 2020.  Ms. Mebane is the daughter of the late Mr. James Fred Mebane and the late Mrs. Jennie Jones Mebane.  

Ms. Eunice was a 1953 graduate of  Graham High School.  She worked for Kayser Roth Hosiery for 28 years until declining health forced her to retire.  Ms. Eunice enjoyed gardening, cooking and talking trash, but her favorite job was taking care of her grandchildren.

Ms. Eunice is survived by her loving daughter, Charita M. Miles (Eugene); 2 grandchildren, Corey E. Miles (Christina) and Courtney Y. Miles (Eric); 4 great grandchildren and one sister, Marie Williamson.

She was preceded in death by 5 siblings, James “Buddy” Mebane, William “Luke” Mebane, Cora Jones, Elsie “Babe” Mebane and Estelle Oldham.
