Eunice Berthenia Allison

Ms. Eunice Berthenia Allison age 99 of Burlington, NC transitioned from her labor to reward on November 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Eunice is the daughter of the late Mr. Stranger Allison and Mrs. Estella Leath Allison.  She was born April 25, 1924, in Alamance County, NC.  She was a faithful member of Union Chapel United Church of Christ where she served in different capacities such as the Willing Worker's Club while it was in existence, and the Senior Missionaries.  She always sat up close to the front, usually on the second or third seat from the front never making trouble in the church, but you knew that she was present.  Always with a smile and sweet spirit.

Her life and legacy will be forever cherished by her sons, Rev. Walter Clinton Allison, Sr. and Howard Nathaniel Allison; four grandchildren, Allende Allison, Tane Falls, Kenneth Allison and Walter Allison, Jr.; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great- grandchild along with a host of other family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her brother, John Wesley Allison and a grandchild, Master Howard A. Allison.

The family will receive visitors at the home of her granddaughter, Tane Falls at 2316 Venie St. Burlington, NC.
