Emma Ruth (Warren) Fuller

Mrs. Emma Ruth Fuller, fondly referred to as “Ruth” transitioned peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 17, 2023 at the AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home of Alamance County in Burlington, NC.   Emma was born on June 30, 1942 to the late Ossie Warren and Rose Boria Fowler Warren of Burlington, NC.  

Emma was a graduate of Jordan Sellars High School, Burlington, NC class of 1960 and spent much of her employment working in the banking industry as a teller in addition to being a homemaker raising her three children. Emma loved cooking for her family, playing the piano and doing anything involving her family she loved dearly.

Spiritually, Emma worshipped and served the Lord faithfully as a member of Clinton Memorial UCC where she was the pianist for the senior choir for many years until her failing health.  

Emma was married to the love of her life, late James “Jim” Fuller and this loved blessed them with three children, Tracey Fuller Dark (Wade) of Huntersville, NC; James J. “Jimmy” Fuller ( Charlette) of Mansfield, TX and Jody W. Fuller (Earleas) Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, Jody J. Fuller, Garrison Dark, Haven Valadez (Stephone), Myles Dark, Kamren Fuller, Ashtyn Fuller, Justin Fuller and Lauryn Fuller; 2 sisters, Peggy Warren Barnes and Virginia Ellen Warren Thompson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.  

Emma was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Brenda F. Warren Jones and Johnny C. “Butch” Warren.
