Eddie Dixson Obituary

Eddie Dixson transitioned on December 9, 2020 at his home.  Mr. Dixson was born December 4, 1926 in Buffalo New York to the late Mr. Willie Dixson and Mrs. Alma Kelley Dixson.  Mr. Dixson was the husband of the late Mrs. Annie Mae McMillan Dixson and the late Mrs. Linda Warren Dixson.  He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.  Mr. Eddie was a Navy Veteran and a Mason.  He was the owner and operator of Dixson Moving & Storage.

Mr. Eddie is survived by two sons: Eddiena Albanese (James) of High Point, NC, Edward David McLeod (Michele) of Mebane, NC, John Edwards of Plymouth, Ma, Karen Perry of Roxbury, Ma, Kim McLeod of Roxbury, Ma, Felisha Usher of Roxbury, Ma, two special grandchildren: Terrell Dixson and Keana Costa and host of additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Laura Green Jarvis  of Norristown, PA; a special sister-in-law, Muriel W. Tarpley (Algene) of Burlington, North Carolina and a host of nieces & nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son: Abram DeLuz and siblings Robert Shropshire, Marilcy Shropshire Harris, James Shropshire, Richard Dixson, Willie Dixson, Melzetta Dixson Coleman, Virginia Dixson Morgan, Emma Dixson Champion, Mary Dixson and Florence Butterfield.
