Mr. Dwight Clifton Hunter was born April 26, 1944 and Alamance County North Carolina to Miss. Katherine Hunter and Mr. William Matthew Lake Jr. Following a few years of deteriorating health, Cliff peacefully transition to glory on April 15, 2022 at Mid state Medical Center Meriden, Connecticut. Being an Alamance County native, Cliff as he was known by family and friends was an outstanding basketball star with a Jordan Sellars High School. He was a proud graduate of the 1962 graduating class of Jordan Sellars. Following his graduation from high school he enlisted into the United States Air Force. He served his country with valor and dignity. And he was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force on August 9, 1969.
Cliff had a vibrant career which band several years with Honeywell Inc. While with Honeywell, he was a part of the Information Technology Department. Cliff was a loving and caring individual who would do all he could to assist his family and friends. His loving heart, kindness and generosity will never go unforgotten.
He leaves loving memories to his daughter, Kimya Hunter Rice and her husband Robert and their three children Robert, Christian and Arianna as well as an uncle: Robert Lake and a special cousin Teresa Collins and her husband Maurice as well as many dear loved ones and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two siblings: Daisy Hunter and Michael Brown.
