On January 13, 2023 the Lord sent His angel of mercy to bring home to rest Mrs. Dorothy Carter Turner. She was the daughter of Alfred Carter and Martha Green Carter on March 20, 1939 in Alamance County, North Carolina. She was a member of Green Level Christian Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved sewing and working in her flower bed. She was preparing herself to meet the Lord and spend eternity in Heaven.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories to her son: James Myron Turner (Theresa) of Burlington, North Carolina; two daughters: Angelia Turner Pinnix (Stanley) of Duluth, Georgia and Cassandra Turner of Burlington, NC; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law: Doris Carter who was great to have as a friend and a wonderful addition to our family who makes us all truly blessed. Also surviving Dorothy is a special and loving friend, Charlene Currie. Charlene and Dorothy were longtime friends who watched each other change and grow through the years in so many different ways. Always celebrating each other's accomplishments and supporting each other's dreams. Charlene I was blessed to call you my sister. Iris Mebane, I truly cherish all the special moments we shared with our families and your caring heart. Charlene & Iris , you have been the best friends any person could have and I was thankful to have you all there for me and grateful for you both.
