Doris Mae (Ratliff) Shaw

Mrs. Doris Mae Ratliff Shaw was born in Alamance County, North Carolina to George Ratliff and Etta Foust Ratliff.  She was married to Mr. Rudy Jackson Shaw and to this union three children were born.  Following an extended illness she passed away peacefully at the Jacob's Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  Doris was a 1954 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School and was employed with J. Spencer Love-Brown Wooten.  

She leaves loving and lasting memories to her three children: Trina Sherre Shaw, Karen Shaw-Holmes (Ray), and Roderick Jackson Shaw, Sr.; five grandchildren: LaTasha Renee Shaw, LaVita Shante Shaw, Lakeisha Renee Shaw, Bradley Ray Holmes and Roderick Jackson Shaw, Jr. and two great-grandchildren: Malaysia Jameisha Vaughn and Lillie Bell Washington as well a host of nieces & nephews other relatives and dear friends.    

In addition to her husband and parents, in her passing she now joins her siblings George Lennis Ratliff, Jr., Maxine R. Enoch and husband Wilton and Annie R. Yellock and husband Raymond.
